An unsubstantiated allegation about Trump (the Ransome “Jen” claim) surfaced in unsealed Epstein files
Evidence
- Per the NYT, an uncorroborated secondhand allegation against Donald Trump appears in unsealed filings from a 2015 Virginia Giuffre v. Ghislaine Maxwell case: emails from Epstein victim Sarah Ransome relaying a claim by a woman “Jen.” It surfaced when a judge unsealed some files in 2023, and resurfaced on the administration’s still-private test website — worrying officials in the Aug 13 Situation Room meeting. — Source: NYT, Haberman & Swan, June 10 2026
- Discussed by Julian Dorey Ep 435 (@ 1:18:24, “N*pplegate”). — Source: Dorey @1:18:24
Involves
Donald Trump · Jeffrey Epstein · Ghislaine Maxwell · Epstein files · Julian Dorey
Counter-evidence
The allegation is unsubstantiated; Ransome retracted related claims (she had also claimed to possess sex tapes, then withdrew them citing fear for her family). The NYT notes “many in the room thought this was all just discredited nonsense.” Recorded here as a documented item in the files, NOT as an established fact — this is the kind of claim the “overwhelm with volume” website would have stamped with DOJ branding regardless of truth.
